The choice we have to make before death
We make choices everyday from the moment we open our eyes - what to have for meals, what to do for work/school, what to say to people. We make choices for education, careers, friends, partners, where to live, how many kids to have. Every single choice we make weaves to form our lives. We face temptations when making a choice despite it being trivial or pivotal. For people who believe in religions/beliefs, the principles taught by the gods serve as anchors when temptations arise. For people who don’t believe in any particular religions/beliefs, they often use logical thinking to solve problems. No matter which group we belong to, we greet temptations with will power and resistance by default. When we succeed, we give ourselves a pat on the back. When we fail, we harbor guilt or blame for ourselves and/or others consciously or unconsciously. We are tested by life over and over again and we can’t seem to get along with life. We have a hard time loving us and others. We look at ourselves and others through the lens of judgement and the feeling of not enough. There is one choice everyone has to make at some point in life that serves as the north star of all the other decisions we make in life. The purpose of our souls’ existence on Earth is to make The Choice. Many people are not aware of The Choice and are trapped in the sinkhole of indifference. It’s like living their lives in a dream state and they never wake up.
“The Choice”
Every soul is an extension of the Infinite Creator exploring, learning and understanding. Each soul has its own lessons to learn through different experiences. Very much like the schooling system, souls advance through different levels. There are eight main levels referred to as densities. Within each level, there are more sub-levels for different advancements. All life forms start with the first density - water, fire, earth and air. These first-density elements go through a stage of chaos to form lives. Then, they enter the second density. Higher second-density beings strive towards the third density which is the density of self-awareness/self-consciousness. Second-density beings are not self aware and they possess the mind, the body but not the spirit. These second-density become self-aware with the help of third-density beings. The most common occurrence of higher second-density beings graduating to the third-density are pets. Once a being enters the third density, it becomes a mind/body/spirit complex (person). The third density is the density of choice. All the beings despite their current densities are all co-Creators helping the Infinite Creator expand and learn. There are two paths for the Creator to learn, 1)service-to-others or 2)service-to-self. In the third density, we have to choose between these two paths during the incarnations for that’s the pre-requisite for entering the fourth density - the density of love. Life in the third density is hard because we go through so many situations to help us make a choice. In order for us to choose one path over the other, the concept of duality exists in the third-density world. We learn about me/others, good/bad, like/dislike, easy/hard, right/wrong, etc. The dichotomies are illusions created to help us seek meanings deeper than the surface-level judgements. Since everything is one, there is no you or me, good or bad. If we can see through the illusion of separation and understand that everything/everyone is connected despite the differences on the human level, we will be able to graduate to the density of love.
The paths
There are two paths for beings to choose in the third density (the density of choice). This choice determines how beings continue to progress beyond the third density. Ultimately, neither of the paths is right/wrong or good/evil for everything is one. However, one way is easier than the other. Using analogies that we can understand, one path strives with team work while the other creates isolation and relies on will power and control to make progress.
The service-to-others path
This path is about seeing the love/light in all beings. It is about seeing through the illusion of separation. Accepting our own flaws as humans and accepting others’ quirkiness. As long as we are still living as human beings, it’s not practical to think that we can connect with everyone and everything deeply and lovingly on the same level. Nevertheless, we can try to hold a space in our heart for anyone that we don’t bond well with in life. In this space, he or she is no different than ourselves or people that we like. To overly simplify things, when we are unconscious and the ego is in charge, we are on the service-to-self path because the ego does everything to protect and strengthen the existence of self.
If we wish to polarize towards the service-to-others path, our heart must be open and accepts this choice with honesty. Meaning, using logic or will power to persuade ourselves to take actions that are of service-to-others is a moot point. When we deny our true emotions, we deny ourselves. This action creates shadows in our lives and we become unable to love ourselves/others. Using control and will power to achieve a goal is the core of the path of service-to-self. So is using manipulation to achieve desirable outcomes.
What happens after we make the choice
When we make the choice, it’s not a one-time dramatic moment like saving children from a burning building or committing murders. Our job on Earth is not done as soon as we choose. The path we choose becomes the anchor of every choice we make for the rest of our lives. We can wake up with a smile and the intention to spread joy or we can wake up feeling grumpy and resentful; we can let someone through the merging lane on the highway or we can choose to close the gap to prevent any car from merging in front of us. We don’t wait for dramatic events to make the choice.
There are many catalysts presented every second of the day to test us. The moment we become aware of The Choice, we begin the work of polarization. In order for a third-density being who chose the path of service-to-others (positive) to graduate to the fourth density of positive, he or she needs to live a life that’s 51% service-to-others and 49% service-to-self. Living in a third-density world, it’s unlikely for average people to completely let go of the self and serve others. All it takes is just that additional 1% of service-to-others to tip the scale. Every second of our lives is an opportunity for us to choose. Of course, there will be instances where we will/have to choose the service-to-self path, either consciously or unconsciously. In this case, we don’t have to judge ourselves afterwards. Simply start over and be conscious of every decision we make. The sinkhole of indifference
Many people keep repeating the same patterns in life without being able to make the choice consciously. Everyone is entangled and succumbed to the pressure of the daily grind. People are hypnotized to stay in a dream state where the priorities are making money, accumulating assets, acquiring social status, entertainments, etc. I have no doubt that part of the reasons for people to stay in the dream state is by design. There are determined service-to-self entities orchestrating plans to keep other beings from awakening. Capitalism trains people to become consumers of material goods; the banking system keeps people in debt; the schools teaches us to conform. We are kept in the dream state through illusions. It’s always easier to put the responsibilities in other people’s hands. We often say, god made us this way, this is the way life is, or there are more powerful people controlling us. All these are true, but we have the power to accept or make changes. Keeping us in a dream state is the way for us to break free. Free will is the blue pill we take to break these illusions. We all have the power to do so. Some people wake up earlier than others. For those that succeed to see through the illusions of human life, you can make a collectively effort to help others who are still asleep.
