Living in a society that focuses on obtaining comfort and security, we are expected to be on the go all the time. We are caught up in the doing. From a very young age, we are taught to discover our “passion” so that we can make a living doing what we love. We are conditioned to think that if the work we do is our “passion”, we will be able to endure the expected hardships and work very hard for it everyday until we die. In return, we will live a comfortable life. Passion becomes the armor that protects us from life. It masks the fear that has been instilled in our unconscious mind since we were children.
