Ego and Mental Health: How to be happy again
We spend decades learning about knowledge and skills to become a player in the economic structure, to earn a living, yet we neglect the one most fundamental area - how to live. When we talk about how to live, we’re not just thinking about getting a job to support yourself, getting social recognition/approval or developing a certain lifestyle. If everything we do is to be happy in life, why are we still so unhappy 90% of the time? Why isn’t being happy the constant state of being for us? Instead, so many people suffer from anxiety, fear and depression.
